I love this story so so so much. I do believe that it is the only one in this fandom that actually explores how difficult their life would be after eloping, how much Anya gave up, and how worried Dimitri is that he won't be able to provide for her. The tiny details in this story-her brushing his hair with her hand, the looks they exchange, the actions they take in between words, and and the intimacy they share without still having the lust that's present in the beginning of a marriage -it all comes together to create a wonderful portrait of how tender married life can be when the people really love each other. Excellent work!
