The one thing I love about Joss is that he always leave these vacuums where we can imagine what happened. This is one of these moments.

Loved it. By this time Angel, even Darla, knew how he felt. Maybe he wouldn't call it love loudly, but he knew it.

This is a sweet story, too bad it couldn't be included in the ficathon. I like your description of Angel's thoughts, especially the similarities he sees between himself and Buffy. It's actually a theme I used on one of my stories.

I read IWRY Marathon all these years, and always choose at least 5 best stories to my collection. This story sure would be on my favorite list of the marathon '12, why it isn't added as a bonus?
A good description of emotion, and the atmosphere of that period in the show. I really would like to see it developed into a long story, maybe another love story of Buffy & Angel, where they have been together since the first season.
