Shame you're not carrying on this story based on the preview. First of all, I don't think Karen's being a bitch. I can totally understand why she'd want ivy out of her way after what she did to her, and i can see why shes acting the way she is. girl's gotta be hurting. Plus I'm glad it looks like Karen has more of a backbone this season. Secondly, I think cartwills will happen in s2, and Katharine McPhee herself recently said that there's potential for another love I interest!

He ruined the show! Makeing one of his 'love triangles'; i mean seriously this is a show about the making of a show! Not a lame soap!
Anyway I'll be watchin this season in hopes the kimmey ship will crash and burn just like the 'dev and karen' whole shannanagan.

Why worry about the extended previews, write the story your way. After all that's what fan fiction is for. In fanfic, there is NO Jimmy :-)

I know! The preview made me so frustrated! I will watch the show when it comes back on though, because I do like theater and music and all that stuff.
But you are right, Karen's acting like a total bitch- like Ivy was during the first season. And I already don't like Jimmy. I'm hoping he's just using her to try and get into Broadway, and when Karen finds out she runs to Derek. Doubtful, I know, but we can all dream, can't we?
I wish you wouldn't just stop writing this story, it's one of the few Smash/Cartwills stories that I actually like on Fanfiction, but I understand.

I'm going to be completely honest: this story is good. Good idea, good writing, good emotions.
With that being said, I'm going to guess English isn't your native language (and if it is, I'm not trying to be rude!) I've noticed subject-verb agreements and words that don't exactly make sense (example: He were completely vulnerable... "Were" should be "was". The next sentence after that is correct).
I'm not trying to be rude, not at all! I'm rather enjoying this story.

Yay she knows of Jimmy and Derek punched him...this gets better and better! Great job again I can't wait for next time.

You have no idea how much I ship Karen & Derek too! Really hope we get a lot if intimacy between them in season 2 and at the very least a big passionate kiss!
It would be a crime if nothing ever happens, the show can't lose that chemistry! It's hard to come by! Kat & Jack's chemistry is so natural they don't have to act much.. I am so excited for season 2!
