Nice little story, super cute lol. You're spot on with the parents! I liked Jin's ending the most out of all game endings, to be honest, because it was the sort of time travel- I would go anywhere for you kind of vibe and I like it, but all endings had their special flavour, but even so, I feel it's Jin who is the cannon. Sorta like Tamahome in Fushigi yuugi.

This was pretty good and I agree with your assessment from the info we get on Sayori's parents from the game and I liked the ending with Jin/Sayori.
