Phew, now that the final chapter of 'Sleeping Beauty' is up there's some spare time for writing this review...

'So now he commands my bathing habits as well?' 'Next he'll be picking out a wife for me and genetically enhancing our children.' Damien's irritated thoughts are plain hilarious, and the last sentence had me rolling on the floor with laughter! Well, Damien shouldn't have worried concerning a wife and children, should he?

'"You're the reason anyone can see the Corelight anymore, Gerald. If anyone deserves a brilliant dawn…it's you," Damien finished.' Aw, how I loved this fluffy bit. The lovers facing the dawn together is touching and heartwarming, exactly the right thing if you have to face another cold and busy Saturday. Sigh!

Generally I think Gerald and Damien are wonderfully written in character and truly sound like themselves (same goes for the narrow-minded fool of a patriarch), and I definitely like this story a lot. Nice twist that Tarrant can feed on love now as well, and I loved poor Damien's panicked reaction when he had to face his feelings for Gerald. Don't know why nobody's reviewing (well, it's a busy time of the year, as I very well know...), but for my part I hope to read another one of your well-written fics soon.
