I loved this!

Great job creating a layered portrayal of Lauren Tanner, and I also really like that it was Lauren/Austin since for some reason, I really like them as a pairing.

I'm really fascinated by Lauren and I wish they had more time to deal with a proper redemption arc in the show before it got cancelled.

I think Lauren and Austen would have been really interested. I really liked how you linked up her heart issues with the growing feelings for him.

I know this is only supposed to be a one-shot but it would be nice to see a story with a more in-depth exploration of what Lauren and Austen could be.

I'm not generally a fan of Lauren/Austin, but this is so well written and so enjoyable. And I really like your approach to Lauren. Most people have her as a bitch for no reason, but there are reasons she behaves the way she does and I think you nailed her. I loved this fic. I'm going to go see if you have others.
