Good chapter! I liked the description of Alex's gang from an outside point of view - it was believable and interesting. So were the details of the "milk-plus," how Ira felt spaced-out but also more aggressive. It's fair enough that Ira doesn't feel any loyalty to Ludmilla since she forced her into this, but I guess we'll see if she'll have to help anyone or not, whether she likes or hates Alex, and what will happen in the fight, etc. So, looking forward to the next chapter!

Ludmilla and the gang don't seem to take no for an answer, do they? ...At least black outfits with masks make more sense to me than white ones with suspenders :) Looking forward to the next chapter.

The update was certainly worth the wait! Great job! Alex’s dialogue was just fine; just enough Nadsat to keep it realistic, but not enough that it was distracting (and there’s nothing worse than fanfic writers who overdo it).

So, no confrontation. Instead, Alex remains a mystery - so far - which I liked. I thought you wrote him well in 3rd-person, actually. Still, it would also be interesting to hear more of his thoughts or hear him speak. And this Ludmilla seems a nasty piece of work, to put it lightly! Looking forward to episode 3.

Nice beginning! I like how Ira's tough, but also "ends up" rescuing people... even Billyboy. And your introduction of Billyboy was one of the more creative ways I've seen of introducing a character from the original work. I guess the way Alex comes in is a bit more typical, first appearing as a threat - I mean, I've even seen that in romance-type fics - but that makes sense considering it's Alex, right? Anyway, very interesting and I'm looking forward to reading more!

I love this story so far! Ira is humanized more in this chapter, but she still retains the qualities that make her interesting. Alex seems so evil-I love it!

I really like this story so far! Ira is a very interesting character-she's certainly not some super sweet Mary-Sue type. I can't wait to find out what happens next!
