This story was pretty amazing and very compelling. I enjoyed reading your story, and the title made me smile. "Humans in Disguise" instead of "Robots in Disguise".

Now, I must go read part 2! Great job on the first story and happy writing!

I've really liked this story. Marissa's adventure had a believable timeframe and it was very nice how, despite being the main character and the driving force behind the changes in the war, she stayed in a 'secondary' role, needed help, and shared the merits in every action she partook. It all blended into a very good and likeable character.

The comparisons with a Hollywood film, and the way the Autobots responded to Megatron's try to provoke Optimus into a duel were priceless.

The chapters were a bit short, and on their own may look slow, but in a complete story, they blend together quite nicely. Fortunately for me, I found the fic after you finished it.

I wonder how Shockwave found Earth? I'm going to make a shot in the dark here: Someone told him... possibly someone on Earth. The nasty thing about humans is our ability to ignore everything about a risky call except how it might benefit us. Some politician on Earth might be about to learn that the hard way.

Sounds like the war on Cyberton may be over, but war on Earth may just be starting! Looks like that Space Bridge may be the way to get to earth, and clean out Shockwave and his followers.

Yeah, that is Megatron for you. He really seems to have been locked into some kind of weird alternate universe where he and Prime were opposing warlords fighting for the throne of some ancient empire and where all interactions were governed by some Byzantine martial code right out of the middle ages. Prime, on the other hand, was a modern being from a modern society governed by law and run through a democracy. No, there will be no warrior's death for Megatron. He'll go on trial and then either be executed or be locked away for life like a common thief who let a mugging escalate into a murder. In so many ways, that is exactly what he was anyway.

A nice little touch and it shows you understand the characters better than some. I strongly suspect that even the writers of the G1 cartoon wouldn't have been able to resist a final 'money shot' battle between Prime and Megatron, even if it was already over and it would achieve nothing but pander to Megatron's ego. Nice job!

Marissa is right about Shockwave taking over the Decepticons. However, I wonder if he'll evacuate Cybertron rather than continue a lost war. Logic would dictate that it would be better to withdraw to a safe haven like Charr or Junkion and regroup. Earth is still out there somewhere and Shockwave is obsessed with the thought that its resources might ultimately win the war, so he is more likely to want to wait and attempt to somehow pursue Marissa home.
