I'm smiling and crying at the same time, this was perfect! The way Jake holds onto Lucy and Teresa...you showed so well what his parents did to him, the pain they caused and I am sure he won't do that to Lucy. I loved how you wrote Lucy catching his finger, it melt my heart when I read it! And his reaction to her eyes - okay, it's official, I am crying now! :-D What did Cloud Dancing talk about to Teresa? And do I need to say that I LOVED those two crack heads? :-D He didn't faint, hahahaha! XD Awesome chapter, I love this story so much! More, please! *puppy eyes* :-D

Jake pressed the tip of his finger into her pink palm. Her strong grasp nearly brought him to his knees... Wow, love that. But what got me most was - I had forgotten what Jake's siblings names were! His sister was Lucinda! Omgosh! That brought tears to my eyes!
"Jake," Teresa squeezed his fingers reassuringly. "Give Lucinda a chance to live now." Wow, that was an awesome response, bravo! What an awesome finish to this story - Jake at last finding peace with the world. Loved it. Thank you so much for this story!

oh man, I didn't get the alert for this chapter! Loved how Cloud Dancing took charge in his gently authoritative way :) Love that he called the bassinet a 'fancy teepee', hehe cute! Love that Teresa was able to get over her dislike of Indians and accept CD's help. Love Jake's bumbling, hehe.

Aww, that was so sweet of CD, a way of telling Jake I think that he now respected him and acknowledged his growth and maturity.

It's my absolute favorite from you! :-D Hahahaha, you got me laughing like crazy at Jake's stampedo through the kitchen,nearly falling down over kitchen table!xD I could so picture that! :-D I am surprised he didn't trip over his feet at the stairs,hahaha! Okay, girl, I don't know how you do this, but you are getting better with each new chapter! Your writing just amazes me! Firstly, I loved Teresa just sitting there, talking to her unborn child, I could just imagine her and than Jake coming over with the presents...had to giggle at Hank's " " hehehehehe, that sound sjust like something Hank would do. And "crooked stitches. Those most be Dr. Mike's contributions" had me rolling on the floor laughing! :D :D :D Poor Dr Mike, hahahaha! :))))
