So, you wanted a review, Ms Lilac. Well...Oh. OMG. So much that I love about this. This is going to be a long review...I'll probably forget something too.

First of all though, WILL MISSED THE BIRTH? Why, woman, why? Although I do have to admit that I loved Jim stepping up and keeping his voice low to try and help Will - that was adorable. But still. Though, again, other thing was Mac asking for headphones so that she could have Will's voice in her ears whilst she was in labour. Okay...so apparently I can forgive you for him missing the birth since you made such good concessions :p

Secondly, my heart was kind of compressing for Will this whole chapter. First when he bolted awake, and then when he said he wished he could be pregnant to take away the pain from Mac - awwwwwwwwwww *melts* and then...oh my God, and then! And then the brilliant reuse of "Cupid, arrow BAM!". So good. And then just the mental image of WIll cuddling his son would have made me die, but you had to call it TEDDY! A baby! A cute adorable baby - WILL AND MAC'S CUTE ADORABLE BABY - is called Teddy. My mind cannot compute anything else.

Maybe it's cause I went to my little cousin's Christening last week (everyone was a bit broody :p) but "I've got someone I'd like you to meet" and "What's my little guys name" just broke me. You broke me. Excellent job. I can only hope that I manage to piece myself back together again by the time you post your next chapter. But I'll be happy to let you turn my mind into another puddle of mush :p

Oh, and I knew I'd forget something - description of Teddy. His hat! Little babies wearing hats just make me dissolve. And you included that. So...there.

Oh! And you're description of Mac holding Teddy for the first time. Just - I mean, really, you totally blew my mind with this chapter (as you can probably tell from this crazy review!); it was every shade of adorable. Thank you! :)

Wow, that's a great story. I'm kind of sad that Will wasn't able to attends the birth of his son, but I can totally understand why you wrote it this way.
Anyway, I can't wait to read more ! :)

What an absolutely perfect chapter - I absolutely love it...
I really wasn't expecting Mac to go ahead and actually have the baby without Will (and was a little disappointed that she did) but I suppose that's very Mackenzie like - the show MUST come first of course...

Love how she watched him on the TV to get through it all and I love how she couldn't stop kissing her baby boy and I would love to watch a scene where Will was watching her from the door... *SIGH*

i don't think it was mean at all for her not to tell will, every relationship is different and this is what she thought was best for both of them and it was incredibly sweet !

Ok, I have no idea why you weren't particularly happy with this chapter in it's early stages? Did you do a major re-write or something? Because I think it's quite perfect!

I can totally picture panicked Will waking up every time Mac so much as moved. And, though I don't necessarily agree with what she did, I can understand Mackenzie's reluctance to make Will watch her in pain. Loved how she was comforted by his face and voice on-screen though. And how she sort of regretted her decision not to have him there for a moment. Very real and very Mac.

It's a boy?! I totally thought it was going to be a girl? Love it though...excellent name!

Great chapter - I really like how Mac protects Will and gets through the labor by watching Will, so it was like he was with her but still got to go out with a bang. It's great when stories seem to write themselves - like it was just meant to be - thanks for posting!

I LOVED this all the way through - all the joking over the names - especially when they're on air... I love to see them like this - just chatting while on air... makes them seem so comfortable with each other... :)

Bit sad to see that Mac had been concealing her pregnancy anxieties from him but pleased that Will finally found out and became more attuned to her moods...

"We balance each other out, Mac. We're going to be fine." - really liked this line and so true - they would so be like that as parents... * sigh *

So loving this story. Adored the baby name conversations! "I am not naming my daughter after the Kennedy family. Do you really want all the RINO talk to start up again?" Hysterical laughing!

And yes please, let's leave the math tutoring to Will. The poor child will be counting on it's fingers for the rest of it's life otherwise. I can find humor in this because I do the same thing!
