I loved it! They are so cute together!

probably the best Jian/Ruki fic on the entire site. I wish I could say something worthwhile but all I can think of is A 10/10 would recommend

I know that you know your work by heart, but I would like to offer you my compliment: this is the best conversation of love that I've ever read in a fanfic. I also liked the fact that you included her grandmother by having this conversation. It is very timely and relevant.

"Well... you have a lot of energy, a lot of drive and determination, but you haven't had anything to do with that energy lately. I've seen you getting bored and frustrated. If your new friend can give you something to focus your talents, all to the better. And he sounds like a nice young man."

Ruki caught the note in her grandmother's voice. "Come on, he's just a friend. I'm not going to fall in love with him or anything."

Her grandmother laughed. "To listen to the way you talk, you'd think love were some terrible disease you might catch."

"What do you mean?" asked Ruki, looking puzzled.

"Well... let me put it like this. That flower over there on the windowsill, I raised from a seed, and took care of every day so it would grow. When I was a little girl, I had a pet puppy that would follow me to school and wait at the door until I came out. I loved your grandfather. I also love you and your mother, and I love all my friends. Likewise, I love this flower and I loved the puppy. But that's not all the same kind of love, is it?"

"I guess not," said Ruki, trying to make it all make sense. "I guess you mean I could maybe love someone without acting all stupid about them. I mean, you love me and you never act stupid."

She laughed a little. "Thank you. No, I show my love in other ways... like listening to you when you need someone to talk to, and fixing these holes in your shirt.

"It's almost as bad," said Ruki. "When people fall in love, they act all stupid and spout poetry and stuff. I'm not going to do that."

"Some people do that when they're in love," her grandmother replied, "but that's not what love is - or not the only kind. There are different ways to love someone, you know."

Haha I laughed at the 'Dont let Terriermon come' it would be hilarious to read if Terriermon and Renamon went to spy on them on their date :]

Really nicely done fic. I always felt Jen and Ruki make a decent couple due to how different they are from each other

Wowww, this is the first RukixJenrya story I've read because I didn't really like the coupling, but I loved it! It was amazing.

I love the way their relationship progresses through the 'fic, and how their characters develop. It's one of those very rare gems of writing, that I love finding.

I love it. The summary could use some work. It doesn't catch the essence of the story. But the story itself is fantastic and wonderfully subtle. I love romances that can devolop the relationship slowly.

Wow...I spent an hour reading it and can't take my eyes off it until the end.

Thx god the fic's not like some other JenRuki fics and I read only JenRuki fic for Tamers. In this fic, they both stay in character very well. When I mean 'very well', I meant 'splendidly well'...considering all I see was fluffy fluffly all the times which make me feel like Ruki is feeling in this fic.

And finally, I'm glad you didn't make them kiss in the end. Knowing Jen and Ruki...kissing is far way beyond their knowledge. But that doesn't mean I don't like the sound of them kissing either. I'm sure you might understand what I'm trying to say.

Cute. I usually despise Jenruki, and I don't know why I didn't stop reading this as soon as I realized, but you found ways for them to connect that I haven't seen before. Plus you're just an awesome writer, anyway.
