As always, wonderful chapter! Your psychotherapist powers as displayed in this fic are awesome! I am so happy to see that Squall finally told Rinoa he loves her...in his own way. I look forward to a time when he is able to say it more directly but I'm proud of how he did say it. For him, that was a huge deal. I also think it's quite cool that the significant others of the group mates are meeting and hanging out. It's a Final Fantasy lover's dream, really! Thank you so much and I can't wait to see how this fic wraps up! :)

I found myself laughing a lot this chapter. Love the whining Tidus and the lulu is always quiet, aloof, and wearing leather... wait thats familiar... moment. The last moment was sweet too. Great job!

I really love the whole psychology aspect and references and how you tie it all together to his life. It's a very interesting take that most people gloss over. Love!

I didn't like the story that much at the begining, but something told me to keep reading and I'm glad I did, this is a great story. Don't worry about it been too heavy, there is enough covered humor all over, please continue

Lovely story

First things first, I really like this fic. It's clearly very well observed and you clearly understand the characters, which is a refreshing and excellent change from a lot of other fics. This fic made me reconsider a couple of characters and it made me laugh out loud, especially when Selphie was imagining what everyone else would do for fun and she arrived at Squall doing "Something with leather" although maybe that says more about me than her. As for the "cameos" of other FF characters I though they were also extremely cleverly done. I am in a minority where I only play FF8 but from what I know of the characters you get them. If i was in Squall's position and Tidus started whining about how this is "his story" I would've chopped him into croutons but I digress. I particuarly enjoyed Squall's inner monologue because it really shows what the guy is about and how his mind works. I used to absolutely loathe Squall *and* Rinoa before a comination of fics including my own forced me to revise them. Now I hate Irvine, which is another reason I really liked this fic. That said I hope Selphie and Irvine sort it out because Selphie is one of my favourite characters and I don't like seeing her get hurt.

Now I would like to request something of you. I am currently in the middle of a trilogy of fics in the FF8 verse I have dubbed Doomsday, and if you have the time (I'm sure you're very busy) could you possibly read the first instalment (and the second) if you're so inclined and tell me what you think. For some reason I don't get a lot of reviews and I would deeply appreciate it. It's dark, very dark but it has humour and romance as well. I think fans of Squall and Rinoa might not like it and that's possibly why I'm getting so few reviews but I hope you can see it for what it is. I'm not bribing you, but when I post my nect chapter I'm going to make it my business to plug (advertise) this fic. Please don't feel obligated to review my work but I would appreciate it. Sincerely

I'm so glad you posted this chapter...it is amazing! I love how Squall is connecting with Cloud because they do have similar personalities and backgrounds. I also love that Squall is taking advice from Laguna. That is a huge step.

The Selphie intervention at the end was perfect. There was something very heartwarming about seeing Squall trying to help his friend and doing a pretty good job of it!

Now, I'm having feels about Cloud and Squall hanging out outside of the group and becoming buds. Either way, I think both men find encouragement from their presence in the group.

You are doing such a great job with this story! Not everything has to be a barrel of laughs all the time and, for the record, I did still laugh a few times during this chapter because Squall's internal dialogue is beyond hilarious!

Can't wait for more!

You're an amazing writer. You pull off just the right touch of humour and yet keep Squall in character. It's kind of scary but you're really great at it. I always love his inner monologe during the sessions and I got more than a few weird looks while I was reading this story on my cellphone. :)

hahaha I loved it... it was good.. I loved how you depicted cloud, indeed you totally nailed him, I also like that you made a soldier reference for cloud and how he and squall agree on something. I also loved the fact that you made a short laguna and squall conversation..

I am wondering what you think about irvine though, I know he's a play boy and all, but I think that he really likes selphie or at least considers her more compared to other girls. I think that he wouldn't just dumb her like that... But it is your story and I know you must be planning to use that in the near future of your story...

"We accept the love we think we deserve" I really liked that line, and it is very befitting of Squall, who seems to me to think a lot of the time that he is undeserving of some of the wonderful things that come his way. Very nice.
