I loved the angst, I loved the pairing, I loved that there is Captain Scarlet slash! I hope you write more and I hope this spawns a new genre. I loved the original series and I really want you to continue this story line. And let me and everyone else know too if there are more authors out there! In this case, I hope, SIG!

No, I'm not reviewing my own story. I just wanted to leave a message to the previous reviewer:

What are you talking about 'masskill all those moms and kids', or red-herrings? Maybe you accidentally reviewed the wrong story or something - there certainly isn't supposed to be any intimation of massacre in this...Please leave another review or e-mail to clarify - thank's very much for troubling to review in the first place )

That was one fine story. I always thought those two were prime slash material.

The story was well constructed, Blue wasn't some weeping-hanky stereotype and even Scarlet was human instead of the stiff-upper-lip stereotype.

If this is Chapter 1, bring more on!

It's worth developing. Definitely. Most of the SCARLET fic is juvenile. This isn't, in any way.

People in America lose sight of the fact that the show itself was not meant for kids; it was meant for teenagers who'd grown up on the original shows and was made by adults. I suppose this had to be written by a nonAmerican as yourself to make full use of the subject matter.

This American, who saw SCARLET on its original run in America, on WPIX in New York, in 1968-69 (the then-programming director knew Grade or Anderson, I forget who, and we got all the shows through SCARLET basically right after they ran in the UK) has always loved the darkness, the adultness of the program, always identified with its tormented hero.

You conveyed that sense, and added the torment of his friend, who would be his lover.

Heck, I've written some slash stuff for those two, but unlike you I'll never have the courage to post it - and now that they changed the rules, I never will. (sigh)

Thanks for a wonderful, well plotted (if creepy [dude, you are one sick puppy to masskill all those moms and kids, unfortunately there's no getting around THAT] and if you can come up with a less, um, tasteless, plotline, great.

I loved the way the plot kept twisting back and forth. Red herrings abounding while they tried to find their way into and out of the compound.

Heck, at one point, I thought the Mysterons were gonna get Scarlet up the duff rather than kill him.

THAT would have been an interesting part two - Surprise!

But I digress. Come back soon with more.

I'm not the biggest fan of slash, but I have to admit I am in the progress of one for Sailor Moon. This is quite an interesting view and thankfully, you are a tasteful writer. Some authers butcher the stories and the respective shows. Nice work.
