I feel like you've gone out of the way a lot to explain things that are obvious and, in a case or two, already explained. They don't have to puzzle out loud about things that are self evident, or that Iris can explain in her narrative. That results in filler.

However, I liked the thing with her skirt. That was clever. ;)
