I just rented "Red Dawn" and I've watched three times in the last 48 hours. I was a little surprised by the lack of fics, for both the original and the new one. With that being said... I liked both of these chapters. The story so far is well written, and so far is not jumpy. I like how you have it going between what is going on with Jed and then going to the Wolverines camp.
You know "rub some dirt on it" is something I have said a lot the last year. I never thought it would be a favorite line in a movie.

Nice job so far! I was actually certain that Jed was going to die by the end of the movie (no offense to any movie makers out there, but their ideas are getting kind of predictable), but I'm still thrilled to see that someone had the brilliant idea to make him... well, not dead. Awesome story! Can't wait for the reunion and for what will happen. :D while reading this, I thought over how Matt seems to be growing into a god leader. So where will that leave Jed, if and when, they rescue him? Will he regain that position as leader, or perhaps... lead a seperate, second group of people? That'd be awesome! The two brothers, leading different groups, but banning together in order to fight against those invaders. Anyways, hope you update soon, becuase I'm loving this fanfic!
