Okay, I absolutely love this pairing! The entire time I was reading Mansfield Park, there was a part of me rooting for Henry to change. In the book he genuinely seemed like he was trying to be better for Fanny and I think he really did love her. It's nice to see Henry in this light and to see Fanny happy and seemingly more confident as a result of the engagement. PLEASE don't change this into a cannon pairing at the end or something! I'm loving the Henry/Fanny as it is. 3

You're right, it still has to suit the early 1800's. Much as I like the canon, I like this pairing too, the only bad thing about it is Fanny having Mary as a sister in law.

Yay for Fanny/Henry. I actually don't find Fanny and Edmund to be a good couple. It's my least favorite of all Austen's. I always wanted Fanny and Henry but I understood why she wouldn't go for him. This is a great story!
