Nice chapter! I like the role you gave Langston in this one... Pester actually seems kind of fond of him, for listening to his suggestions! Setting traps and stuff is very in-character for him, too! :P

I love how you write Gretchen! Such a natural leader. I like Kora and her remarks even more, though - I'm glad we're seeing a bit more of her cynical side now! :D

Your writing is very realistic, too! Describing how their faces feel under their mask is not something I'd think of fast, myself! :D

AHHHH, how cute was this chapter? It was a lovely palate cleanser after the sheer intensity of the last chapter, hehe! (not that intensity is a bad thing! ;) ) Gretchen and Bart's reunion actually warmed my heart, and Bear and Kora's little moment was TOO CUTE. Uuuugh, OTP, seriously!

Also, can I just say you made Langston's crush on Leafos awful cute. Still creepy, yes, but way cuter than most people portray it! Poor Leafos. Poor, poor Leafos. Still, the mental image of her giving him a hug is adorable ;w;

Amazing, amazing, amazing! :D This gotta be my favorite chapter of yours, so far! There's so much going on here (the Sour attack, Leafos mentioning the unfortunate history concerning her father's old garden, Dastardos wanting to spare his sister), it gives off a very adventurous vibe! :D

I love your way of describing Piñata Island's landscape - especially because everyone who played VP1 MUST recognize it! :D Another thing I thought is awesome, is how in your ''ficverse'' the siblings themselves instead of another, random gardener revived Jardineiro's old garden after its first destruction. When you think about it, that makes a lot of more sense too!

Leafos mentioning how she misses Stardos... Heartbreaking!

The Sour attack was just... awesome! I don't have much to say about it, just that it was written very dynamically and that it had a lot of intense moments. Leafos searching for that shovel was perfect! Love how you described all those Sours and their style of fighting, too!

Overall, great chapter. I'm so excited to read on! Take your time though, and keep up the good work.

Wow, Kora is really, really clumsy! :P Poor Leafos, having to do all those dangerous things and all... At least she's fighting for a cause of some sort - freeing the Island from Professor Pester and ''avenging'' her ''ceased'' sister!

Like I said before, I love those BearxKora moments! They'd make a very cute couple. I hope things will work out for them! Glad you incorporate Bear's fear of heights mentioned in the game in this story, by the way! I love such details! :D

I can't get over how awesome you write Jardineiro! :D The way he started talking about his heritage when Leafos wanted to leave was right on spot! I like how Jardineiro dislikes Seedos so severely, hehe! :P Poor kid, though.

How the girls go to Bart for help is perfect! He's a very skilled Tinkerer, which will certainly come in handy at this mission! Ah, Gretchen is working for Pester now, right? I hope she'll be fine... I'd love to read what kind of work she does for him, though!

Bear planting flowers... oh, man. I'm glad Kora caught him doing that, otherwise she would probably never been convinced the tough side of his personality was the one he feigned! The way she punches him on his shoulder instead of hugging him is so cute... and relatable! I get awkward in front of my crushes a lot too so I know where she's coming from, hehe! :P

Another good chapter! Aw, poor Bear and Kora, I think they could actually make a nice couple. :P
I totally understand Kora being mad at him, though, especially with her bad past experiences.

I love Jardineiro telling the story of what's happened to the Island. Even though he's a bit narcissistic and self-centered at times, he makes a great storyteller!
I really hope Kora's plans succeed so that the Villager's can be free again... I kind of feel bad for Kora for the bad relationship she's got with her parents, though. Hopefully, she'll help her mom out on this! Then she might finally be appreciated and accepted for who she is!

Ooh, I just realized how much I've missed this story! :D It's so awesome - I like how you've made Piñata Island the property of Pester, it's interesting to see him as an actual dictator for once, he's usually depicted as either a silly, evil villain or just a psychopath. :P

I might've said this before, but the Workers working for Pester really adds to the 'controlled', kind of 'Big Brother' atmosphere. The gardeners can't trust anyone! I feel bad for those Workers, too, though. I'm sure only few of them actually like working for Pester.

You described the Villagers really well! :D Man, I LOVE how Kora can't stand Petula, hehe! Things are bound to get interesting when they're going to have to work together...

Ah, I see you gave Jardineiro a Greek accent! :D That really suits him, in a way... He's half Irish half Spanish in my ficverse, but I love seeing what other people imagine the descent of the character to be! :D

Kinda sad he's not gonna join them but hey, you never know what could happen! He might change his mind. Something tells me he wouldn't pass up a chance to be a hero and get his family a better life. Ahhhh, this just gets better and better with every chapter! Kora and Bear's argument was written brilliantly; I especially love how he reacted to her accusations! Claiming not to be a wuss and turning red...it's SO PERFECT. I'm really impressed! You write Bear so well! I love the depths you've given his character; it's so awesome! ;w;

I'm really glad Bear didn't hurt Kora. I like to think that although Bear has a mean streak and can be violent, he'd NEVER, EVER hit a girl. I think that would suit his character quite well. :D

Kora's plan sounds like a real winner! I hope she'll be okay...but if she hits some snags along the way, it would make for some interesting plot points! I'm really looking forward to Leafos' reaction when she learns that her beloved sister is actually alive and not gutted by that awful machine. Storkos kind of has a fate worse than death though; tied up for God knows how long, not able to fly or do ANYTHING...poor girl! Don't worry, Storkos, you'll be rescued soon enough!

I love how you used the Journal to show Kora what Pester looks like too. Soooo perfect! God, everything about this chapter was FANTASTIC. I can't wait for more!
