Wow. This is great. I was hoping to see if Annie decided to tell Auggie what really happened. But then I figured it wasn't really the point of the strory. Enjoying the Joan-Annie relationship so much. Thank you.

What a fantastic story! I loved how Arthur told Joan that if she had been killed, he wouldn't have wanted to live without her, and vice versa for Joan. It was so very much in-character for both of them. I'm going to have to go back now and read the story from beginning to end. Can't wait to see what you come up with for your next story!

OMG! What an amazing chapter. I especially liked the fact that Annie finally fessed up to Arthur, and I loved Arthur's response. I also liked the fact that Annie wants to redeem herself, and that Arthur relented by letting her come along. And I love that you've included Barber. (I'm hoping that all of this leads up to Arthur nursing Joan back to health...)

I'm enjoying your story, but I don't know how Annie can come back from this. She has betrayed Joan and lied to Arthur. I get that she is doing it for Auggie, but are they really all going to just forgive her when all is said and done? In any case, I hope you let Annie kill Henry. Finally get rid of him!

I've no problem with her escape attempt. Especially if it works. She will probably need to use the screwdriver as a weapon when Henry comes back if she isn't gone. What worries me is how Annie can possibly come out of this with out going to jail. She's in it up to her nostrils, and it isn't bubble bath she's in either.

I'm hoping you have a plan.
