I love this fic. Especially the promise ring, and the part at the end about Linda finding various subtle ways to "keep the Labyrinth close to Sarah's heart"- "the mother who sometimes loved her." Such gorgeous phrases. If I haven't faved this already it is definitely making it onto that list now. Great work!

Hmm. I was expecting this in the last chapter, but now I see it isn't so. Wonder what can happen now?

Holy whoa. Sarah's causing earthquakes and just as easily repairing them? I can just see her as a goblin already. "Jarwith..." That was so cute!

Hmm. Since it's a history of how the Labyrinth came to be, I think it might have worked better as a prologue. But it was coherent and interesting. The only problem is that it stops the narrative.
That said, I eagerly go on. I want to see Linda's reaction to the rest of the Labyrinth's twists and turns.

"Interesting job you have there." "I hate fairies..." Well at least Linda didn't get bitten. Though I must admit it would've been funny if she did. *grin*

Ooh. I find the best stories from links at deviantart pictures, and this one looks promising already. The book itself changes its story for whoever's reading it? The book is the link to the Underground? Now that's a great stroke of inspiration. Definitely reading on.

(Applause) It was so funny to start this chapter and see my old name listed on your "thank you' list. I don't know if you got my email, but I was Ezra's Angel. I was pretty sure I had read this story in the past. I'm pretty sure I've read some of TKS too. It's just been so long I don't remember the actual stories. Anyway... I really think I loved it more second way around. Okay so the ring. Is that the ring that Sarah gives as a contribution to the old man. I really love the explanations of her having all the Labyrinth stuff. On a cool side note, for years I have watched the movie and the one thing I could never find in her room was Ludo. Well I was introducing one of my coworkers to the movie and I saw him. Oh something else I noticed. The record that hangs off it's self that you clearly see... it has the 'cleaners' on it. It's like a game, I spy. Okay so I really do adore your work and I'm going to definitely check out TKS, but for now... I'm going to go post my next chapter and go to bed.

Lancelot. That was just brilliant. That is who the teddy bear is right? You know, I don't know if anyone has caught how intricate you story really is. The way that the story in the book changes... that's why Sarah's version was her saving her brother. And how the king of the goblins had fallen 'in love' with the girl. He fell in love with her as a child. Not a romantic love, but 'love'. In such a way as you could say 'I love that painting.' It's an appreciation for something. At least that's what I see in your story. I don't know if that's your meaning, but it's there. Sorry I really was planning on finishing before work, but I stayed in bed too late. lol. Here I am though. Only one chapter left and then I'm heading to the sequel.

It's so sweet... Jareth to the rescue. So how are they going to get Sarah home? Are they really going to send her back with Linda? It's so hard to believe someone as wonderful as 3 years old Sarah came from a mean hearted selfish... well wait now we know where Sarah's selfishness came from. Nevermind... moving on.
