That's great. A perfect mix of comedy, romance, and action. Honestly, my favorite mix of genres. I enjoyed reading about Dick and Slade working together. That, and the pranks that were pulled on Dick, and the pranks Dick pulled. I enjoyed reading this.

One word: Awesome! Great job! This story is hilarious AND it has adventure. What could possibly be better?

I just finished this and loved every second of it. I love how it start6ed out lighthearted and gradually got darker and darker.

Dick's voice was great, the plot was perfect, just a pleasure from start to finish.

My only sorrow is this is your only story.

What an absolute unexpected delight to see this story finished! It is one of the best I've ever read - I found it about a year ago, and in all my intervening fanfiction reading I have still never found anyone who captures Dick's voice as perfectly as you do. The humor, intensity, and action in this tale are fantastic. You are really gifted, and you do a great job of conveying a character to the reader through narrative voice. There were so many wonderful moments in this story - I'm so glad to see it brought to a happy conclusion!

Whew! FINALLY! It only took seven years, several moves, a marriage and a kid, but finally I remembered this poor little story hanging up here all alone and got some free time to post the exciting (hopefully) conclusion. I didn't have it proofread as I wanted to get it done and over with. I hope its worth the wait. Most of the references in this story are old old OLD and outdated, so read it from the timeline of around October 20.
