Grimmjow has a great assertion of Ichigo's defence here, that was quite remarkable to see how much a simple gunshot escalates his drive to throw his life in front of Ichigo, literally, so I quite enjoyed that.

Both Kisuke and Jushiro are strategically observing Grimmjow based on their new found knowledge of their "dead visitors" from the other day; just what exactly do they know? And it seems as if Kisuke had some involvement if or at least involvement in another organisation with his "position"... Hmm, that sense of unknowingness is really stronger and you developed a basis for the characterisation before you jump into the heat of things and you're doing this so well, makes me more attached to the characters first.

Hmmm, there was great writing in this chapter a lot of emotion and "other things" ;);) that were written and flowed super effectively.

Also, loved how Urahara used the gunshot to stir something in Grimm. Very crafty.

Oh my...so many unexpected twists this chapter! I highly doubt anyone guessed the real reason behind the shotgun, though some may have gotten close; I mean, who would have guessed coyotes? Anyway, that was a great idea and I liked how you used it to bring out a bit more of Grimmjow's ingrained instincts and possible past, as well as (possibly) providing some foreshadowing. Grimm and Ichigo's anger was justified, no matter the reason (it's basic gun safety to let those around you know you are going to fire a weapon!).

I was also not expected Ichigo to take the initiative or for them to have sex so soon. I thoroughly enjoyed it, however, and you did a great job making it steamy, memorable, and emotional for both of them. I also liked how you drew it out and had Grimmjow be extra cautious for his younger partner. As wonderful as it was though, I feel like this happy mood fr them won't last long. The picture of Ulquiorra was another great twist, as I would have thought Grimmjow's photo would have come first. You gave a glimpse into what these men may have been involved in before their current line of work (whatever that is), as well as what Urahara himself may have been a part of. This leads to some great questions about Urahara's past and his previous connections, and a huge mystery of what "that" is. It's getting really good, and I can't wait for another chapter!
