Nice Xander introspection piece. Okay, yes, it had others in it but with the flashbacks and all, it really looked into his past. I like whatcha did with it. Plausable, yet...dunno. I like yer young!Xander. Fits with his character. Would'a loved to see him discipline Dawn, though.

Xander can take care of me anyday ha ha ha. Anyway, great fic, I absolutely loved it. Althought it was sad, and made me feel very sorry for LIttle Xander, it showed what a great person he has become, despite the awful childhood. I love long fics the most, so I was very pleased that this one kept me occupied longer than the usual vignette. Everything about it was perfect, and it's just cemented Xander as my favourite male character ever. Beautiful work, I hope you write a lot more.

Oh my gosh. This was so sad. There is a true horror when children have to grow up in an abusive alcoholic enviroment. I know you like writting Xander, but I'd like to see you do a take on Willow's childhood, given that her parents completely ignore her.

So sad at the end, but really good. I have a soft spot for Xander. He turned into a really great guy despite his crappy upbringing. Keep writing!

This is one of *the* best stories I have ever read! This is fantastic, the characters behave like they should do, and the depth to Xander's character is very well written. I love the way the flashbacks tied in with the storyline, and how Xander came out with things like an adult, but the little macho scene wity the popcorn and TV proves he is still our Xander!

Go you! Write a sequel, focus on Tara maybe?
