Awww, Anandi! You're back with a new story. That's awesome! :D
Please forgive me though for not having finished "The Alliance" yet. I never forgot about that story and am intent on completing the read one day.

But first, let's get on to the first chapter of this new story, shall we?
I really like it! I like that Maeve has learned some new spells obviously, and how she modified a water spell to fit her fiery powers. That would be one:nill for magic then when it comes to having a close look at things in the distance. Firouz will be devastated, haha. But no seriously, I like how you used this as sort of the opening to this story. Without her spell the brothers most likely would have never noticed the girl being pushed into the water and thus the crew would not have gotten involved into whatever adventure is to follow. It reminds me a lot of how things worked in the show, and I totally love it.

Now I am eager to find out who the couple is, what happened there and what is going to follow. Do go on writing! And welcome back. ;D
