Another awesome chapter perhaps you write a side fic about Penny's thoughs on her near death experaince in Movie set being bound at the stake and about to be roasted and Clock Caper when the Clockmaker put her under his machine when the clock strikes 5. Cool job with Dr claw and Dr Niobrc , Niobrc certinly pushing his luck with Claw and that an intresting way of how to deal with Gadget

Nice job cool job with Gadget first meeting with Professtor von Slickstein and his reaction to his Gadgets. Also great job with Penny thoughts and her discovey of her watch and computer. Also yes she needs that breakdown she been through a lot

I hope there's more than one more chapter to come, I'm really enjoying this fic!

You showed how Penny and gadget grew closer so beautifully. She was still grieving, feeling so much loss- and then shegot used to her new life with Gadget and gradually, her bond with her Uncle began to heal her sadness. Ilike the way this was portrayed. The scene with Gadget painting Penny's room was wonderful - and of course, his good intentions to use his gadgets to speed it up ended up with paint everywhere - and Penny laughed. She laughed for the first time since the death of her parents, and that really showed that she was finally getting over her loss and starting to heal.

I liked the way time was moved along to explain what has happened as the time passes by - we hear all about how Penny has helped him with cases many times, but Gadget doesn't realise how much she has done to help him -and brain too. I liked Quimby's point of view that he had tried to do without the Inspector, but Gadget was someone he couldn't afford to let go of because he needs him on the case, he can't do without him, you summed it up well when you described Gadget as being Inspector and Uncle, that's his life now.

And then Claw came into the story, he's very chilling as he discusses the use of the new weapon against Gadget. "There will be no next time for him." was a very tense cliff hanger to end the chapter on! I want to read on, and Im hoping Claw won't get him - he's very determined and darkly evil, I like the way you write him, gave me shivers! I hope Penny can save Gadget!

Oh dear, Gadget may be in over his head. But I have a feeling that his "good heart" will be what ultimately saves him. By the way, Penny and Gadget playing tic-tac-toe with paint was incredibly cute!

Uh oh. By the look's of thing's Claw may actually be right. Will there truly be no next time for Inspector Gadget. Looking forward to reading more and finding out.

Good story. Intellectually and emotionally stimulating. Very detailed. Yes, I cried at the end.
I have one question though: Didn't you say Penny had another uncle?

Ths was a great chapter. I loved the detail you put in, from Gadget's first thoughts to how his new cyborg body and it workings were explained.

I think his reaction to what had happened was very credible - he slowly took in all these facts and he knew he couldnt do anything to change it, he accepted it all. Even though his new hand felt strange - I liked the way you explained all the cyborg parts, human and mechanical together- it was very well done.

And Penny's joy at knowing her Uncle Gadget was awake was lovely. And you are right to have her crying at the end of the chapter, because Yes - loss isn't something anyone can get over in five minutes. She's going to weep over her mothers loss more than once, I would think, which is understandable and believeable. This was a good chapter, great detail and explained everything and took the reader on a very vivid journey. Looking forward to chapter 4 :-)

Wow, I actually managed to get a little teary-eyed at the end of this chapter. Despite his bumbling nature, Gadget loves his niece and you portray that beautifully here. And yes, Penny needed to have this little breakdown. But I think this is where she and her uncle are going to begin their lives together.

This really really good. I can easily imagine the inspector being like that in his childhood. You've done a very good job illustrating his origin. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Exllcent chapter here nice job with Gadget suray , the scenes between Penny and Cheif Qumiby was adorebale as well as her scenes with brain. Also nice job with the fist meeting between Penny and Professor Von Slickstein are you going to show how Penny got her gadget watch and computer book

Exllcent start great job with the relastionship between Gadget and his sister and how he help his sister meet the guy. Also nice job witht the birth of Penny , also you mad Dr claw quite meancing here that was quite the cliffhanger

This was another fantastic chapter! Again, the scenes moved easily through the events taking place and took the reader with it, Gadgets transformation was very, painfully believable and so was Penny's reaction. She's grieving for her parents and desperately hoping her Uncle will still be the same man when he wakes up, and he has been through a lot, itwas clear how badly damaged he was and how close to death he was - he has survived and been transformed into Gadget the cyborg now.

I like the way Penny assumed he must have consented to the procedure, of course she would think that way - but of course, he was unconscious and know nothing about it and has yet to come to termswith what has happened to him.

But at least he has that close bond with Penny to help him through and hee will need that in order to accept what has happened to him. I really felt for Gadget and Penny in this chapter, and it was nice to see Quimby showing his softer side too and being there to look after Penny at this time, shows theres more to him than a fierce man who yells a lot, of course he has a heart too - you are writing a wonderful story and all the characters are so very human, so very three dimensional too. Its a great story, you are creating a wonderful piece of fan fiction and I'm looking forward to chapter three!
