hentai18ancilla 4/26/13 . chapter 2Amazing-instead of Shindo and Sai we have reincarnations that have been remembered in his modern life. Shindo is also smarter now that he has remembered his past I would suppose in calligraphy, literature etc and this has changed who Shindo was. This last chapter where Shindo is at once an impatient youth and a benevolent teacher all at once are starling and yet intriguing...for here we clearly see what you meant by blurring the lines. He's no longer just Shindo Hikari but an amalgam of the three. Where you go from here has me hooked! _ |
A. Brown 4/10/13 . chapter 2 Oh god yes another GO fanfic! Having read the majority of the ones available I find new idea's hard to come by... and hardly any new stories out there that are chapter length. Your Hikaru seems emo brooding type at the moment, he seems directionally challenged, hope this is solved in the next few chapters. Looking forward to more! |
EmpressHimiko 3/28/13 . chapter 2_ This is a very intriguing plot line You have well organized the pacing, and I really like the inner dialogue _ I look forward to more :D Good job! |

Guest 2/3/13 . chapter 2 I love it! XD |
mmsbddvr 1/22/13 . chapter 2'Sometimes, it took his students a little more time to grasp what he was trying to show them and he had always been willing to go that extra mile to get them that help. And in this case, that help had both men gasping. Black was saved. Somehow, it had miraculously survived, like a phoenix rising majestically from its ashes. A phoenix that was pissed as hell and out for blood against the one that had condemned it to a premature grave. It burned white's offensives to the ground, stomping on it for good measure. It even spit on white's grave. It was vindictive like that. Hikaru could relate.' Saving as favorite story. I love those kind of passion even if in vindictive. "Let the day perish in which he was born, and the night that said, "A man-child is conceived.' Let that day be darkness! May God above not seek it, or light shine on it. Let gloom and deep darkness claim it. Let clouds settle upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it. That night—let thick darkness seize it! Yes, let that night be barren; let no joyful cry be heard in it. Let those curse it who curse the Sea, those who are skilled to rouse up Leviathan. Let the stars of its dawn be dark; let it hope for light, but have none; may it not see the eyelids of the morning— because it did not shut the doors of his mother's womb, and hide trouble from my eyes. "Why did he not die at birth, come forth from the womb and expire? Why were there knees to receive him, or breasts for him to suck?" Looking forward to how his 'presence' to say in the board felt by the Hirose. |
mmsbddvr 1/22/13 . chapter 1The go torch, burns on. To connect the far past with the distance future. |

irezel 1/12/13 . chapter 2woo, seems intense. i'm looking forward to more! |
Rhavaniel15 1/9/13 . chapter 2Lovely chapter, there was a lot of detail and action. I liked the way you described Hikarus reaction to his mums worry although I felt sorry fr both her and Hikaru. I think its good that Hikaru is putting more effort into his schoolwork since it will generally make people take him more serious, which schould be interesting. The goban is quiet mysterious - is ir only the goban shuusaku died on or is there more to it? does it have to do with his reincarnation? please continue soon since Im very curious what will happen next nd thank you for the quick update, Rhavaniel |
Ileranerak 1/9/13 . chapter 1I'll be blunt: I love this idea. I'll be subscribing to this story! :D |
Me-Anne 1/8/13 . chapter 2 I was really looking forward for this update. Yup, Hikaru's roller-coaster emotions/attitude throw me off the loop at first but by mid-part; I started to sympathize. After all, for all the mental maturity remembering 2 past lives brings, dealing with the emotions that comes along with it wouldn't be easy even for a rational adult. Nice way of tying up the discovery of the goban to Hikaru's trip to the Touya's Go Salon. And nice foreshadowing there. I don't think it was mentioned in the canon that Shusaku has a rival, competitions yes but not a rival though I could be wrong. For all my love HIKARU NO GO, I didn't feel the interest to research on Shusaku. This thought though puts me in a bind - if Hikaru has memory of being Sai and Shusaku; would his rival more likely be TOUYA KOUYA instead of TOUYA AKIRA? Unless, you make Akira super-duper Go genius in this fic. Will Akira be making an appearance in the next chapter? |
Hijiri Clyden 1/8/13 . chapter 2Oh my... this is a very beautiful piece. I kept on glancing at my scroll bar to make sure that I'm far from the end of the chapter :) I think I like the way you picture Hikaru... I can see his childish ways and the way he keeps on trying to act though but at the same time be a coward... the only thing I have my doubts on is the way he corrected the old men about him knowing how to play go. The approach you used was neither a Sai attitude or a Hikaru attitude. :/ Sai would have tried to correct it awkwardly [I can envision him trying to talk but can't get the words out because the old men were too enthusiastic and he'll be a bit embarassed when confronted... remember how gentle and supporting Sai is to Hikaru whenever Sai is correcting him in the Canon... he won't lecture them like this] while Hikaru would have probably tried to say something in a loud manner [he won't just let the conversation flow without him trying to correct it] but he the old men will keep on cutting him off enthusiastic to teach the younger generation go. Then after he corrects them Sai-like he'll end up pouting and exclaiming childishly that he couldn't even get a word out in a rude way. "You asked if I wanted to play, not if I knew how to play. Not my fault you didn't ask the right questions. That's what you get for assuming." He's not the type to say this because he's a loud brash rude little thing. Also this one "...but overall, he was likeable." I also think this is not Hikaru or Sai talk... the both of them are honest idiots... they either like you or not. This way of talking/thinking is reserved for sophisticated people who don't like interaction too much which is so wrong because Hikaru is a childish extrovert... the only basic difference between the two is that Hikaru is a brash rude childish person while Sai is a well-mannered childish person [this is actually a nice parallel you can use in your story :3 how Hikaru can be Sai but still be Hikaru... because Hikaru grew up in a different environment than the court Sai grew up in but they have the same basic attitude towards everything... they're extremely childish and devoted to what they love buuuut the moment they're doing what they love or the moments that deal with their loved ones are where their rare moments of maturity are seen] |
Ginebra 1/8/13 . chapter 2Very good chapter, can't wait to see the rest. |
annvelwis 1/8/13 . chapter 2Great chapter! Your Hikaru seems much more mature and solemn on a whole but there where moments when a bit more of his canon character showed up so he's very entertaining to read - different, but still believable, hah. I actually like the pacing so far, but I imagine that the story is still a bit in the introduction stage, hmm. I guess I really cannot perceive a story as fully started until a game of go is played, hah. Which is also why I'll definitely read the next chapter. Keep up the good work! |
