Very well written and a great read. Really concludes nicely Joe's fate.

I love this story it was my first A.I fanfic... I can't find a word perfect enough to describe how much I love this story! I think Joe would be proud of this story.

In your author's note, you write "More Joe romance? Enough already! Too much! I agree".

Many stories there are. However, there can never be to much stories about Joe being so well written, like yours. You really have a talent there!
(And maybe, you could be flattered into writing more...? ^^)

Wow! you know I read this fic YEARS ago and just so happened I saw it recommended by someone on another site so I thought I would take a look again since I never really left a review when I read it the first time ;). I don't usually read things with original characters in them. It always makes me gag a little, but your story I have to say is the only one that didn't make me hate it right off and as I got into it I enjoyed ^.^ love it

I loved this, i need to read the sequal still, but if its any good as this i know i'll like it. it's hard finding a lot of AI joe stories(let alone really good ones that are more than one small chapter), it's rather depressing.

Its a sin that this fic doesnt have more reviews! Its one of the best that I have read in a long while, and I imagine that Joe is a notoriously difficult character to write, considering that you would have to think as a robot would and adjust his thinking to various situations ni a cool and logical way! I truely excellant work and so easy to overlook! I only just noticed it now as a matter of fact, and I wish I had seen it sooner!

ok seriously, this fic is REALLY GOOD. it is Not, as you say, "Another Joe/Girl story" and i'm definetely not complaining. i loved the character development SO MUCH! it must have been so difficult writing the mindset of a mecha, but you convinced me completely. WHOO HOO!! keep writing! 10/10!

awesome, I read it again, cuZ I had nothing to do, so I snuck on, and read it! More tears, and I read the sequel! Tens times more tears!

I reviewed the sequel first, but this I read first. I'm thinking here, are you some professional writer? The grammar, the descriptions, and everything there is to make a staory great, you have taken adn made it three times (at least) great er than anything I have read. Of, course, I only saw AI because of Jude Law *sighs dreamily* anyway, most of my stories are for the Mummy, but i htink I may come here if I can think of god story line. Anyways, really awesome, I spent God knows how much money on buying tissues, and they are all empty!! This takes my money but it's worht it!

I'm impressed! Good action, romance, humor! :) The characters were all very believable and the story line is great! Good ideas and your descriptions were clear and made the story excellent! Your character of Tabitha was particularly well done. Great job!

I only just scanned over this (I print out most of the "A.I." fictions I run across, and I had to reformat it first), but what I've seen is truly, a many splendorere thing. I'm madly in love with Joe myself (Who isn't??), and this is everything you could possibly want in a Joe fiction: beautiful, sad, touching, some suspense, some mild comedy. You have a good take on all the characters, even the anything but sympathetic characters, ie. Bevins and Lord Johnson-Johnson (GRRR!!) You have a lot of excellent insights into Joe's nature, both as a machine and as an individual, that I doubt anyone else as touched upon. And I, too, have had some Joe dreams myself (see my fic "Once You've Had Mecha..."--excuse the self-advertising!); even had on the night before I found this fic: I was following him through the streets of Rouge City, with him playing hard to get...but that's another fiction! Kep up the great work!

Wow! I don't venture out of the LotR genre and I have to admit that I've never seen the film "AI" but you've written a wonderfully involving fic here. The characters seemed quite real to me and since I'm not familiar with the movie I have to say that your descriptions of Joe's world (mechas and orgas) were done so well that I didn't have to see the film to enjoy this story.

I like the metamorphosis that Joe and Tabby undergo. Joe becoming more aware that he has feelings and Tabby admitting her feelings. I also like Roger and Grizzly!

My but I was worried with Joe (and that poor doctor) were captured by Johnson Johnson. I kept thinking "oh no! How are they going to get out of this one?" Huzzah for Joe's quick thinking!

I'm glad that Tabby told Joe she loved him and equally glad that you didn't have Joe do the typical sappy thing and respond with "I love you too."

Thank you for sharing this with me... I am speechless. I just couldn't stop reading, I loved Tabby's character so much, the entire supporting cast, and the way you chose to develop Joe. Your story was full of humor, tragedy, love... it was truly human. One paragraph in particular haunted me: "Johnson was trying to avoid that gaze. A Mecha's reaction should have been resigned and accepting if anything at all. Joe's face was leering, his expression derisive, his usually warm eyes cold, chilling, arctic, a regard that was frightening even when the recipient was the one free and supposedly safe."
I loved this evolution from the innocent Mecha that we saw in the film. I didn't think it was possible for me to love Joe's character even more, but you've accomplished it!
