Whee, yes, yes, yes, this is absolutely the conversation Snape and His Friend Who Was Once Slytherin Head But Not Prejudiced need to have! The arguments, the voices, ring true for both. Oh gah, you're not returning to this site, are you? I'll have to take a look at your LJ and hope to Christ myself that you're still writing Snape.

What marvelous writing, with all the snarky bastardliness that is purely Snape's. And somewhat Valence Feye's, it seems. I love every moment of their conversations and found myself almost literally hanging onto every word, every action. It's jarring to find myself suddenly sitting back in my seat after their dialogue has ended (or been cut off) and remembering the breathe again. Isn't that the sort of thing that's only supposed to happen with action/suspense scenes? But oh, you do Snape so well, and Valence almost always matches him stroke for stroke. I can't get enough.

Haha, wonderfully executed! A position should definitely be created on Hogwarts staff for Friend of Severus Snape. Dumbledore really should get cracking on that. For a moment there, while they were glaring at each other, I was thinking a bit dismally, "But didn't you just say they were friends? I'm sure even Snape doesn't act like that with his friends." Their exuberance over Potions is FANTASTIC. I love how they practically finish each other's sentences. Reminds me of Fred and George.

I love this! Severus has a good friend- well its not unheard of, come across it in a few fics, BUT; this is the first fic actually based around that concept itself I've come across. Your doing a fantastic job with it! I just hope your not some one who takes long to update.

In chapter 4 you asked for suggestions. I realise I may be a bit to late but I thought I'd throw you the ideas I've had. The two of them have to take studants on a day trip... not sure if this would really work with the story, but it was one of my ideas. Some one from the past who was good friends with (or even went out with ((slashslashslash) one of them, but despised the other shows up to cause tention between the two...

Any chance of keeping this a relatively voldemort and genrally over the top fighting free fic?
