Another wonderful Ranch story, Maz! That Clementine is a little vixen already at her young age leading Heyes and Jed around. Then again, they're letting her. Getting worried about Nathan - I really like him and want to see a marriage soon.

Oh Clementine, you little flirt you! She may have met her match in Bobby, 's not "dumb as a sack of oats."

I'm glad that Nathan didn't lose his leg after all. I hope a steady diet of liver will help him get better, if it doesn't kill him first.

Yup, this story just provides more evidence of why I dislike Clementine. And this line summarizes this chapter perfectly: "I give you, young men in lust." :-) Also really liked Jed telling Heyes not to act dumb. I'm beginning to wonder if Clementine is going to be the reason the boys-or, one of them-leave the ranch and/or they split up.
