I liked this story, although I was frustrated at how ineffectual Cap was at times. He was like Inspector Cluseau with the super soldier serium. How many times did he get captured? I liked the resolution and it is a pity that it looks like it will never be continued. It would be interesting to find out how Diamondback is a mutant (and what the heck that mutation is)

Interesting fic - loved the ending, btw, especially since I'm an X-Men fan - and the whole Cap #2 running around is an interesting idea. This could use a little bit of editing and some work on the pace of the piece and descriptions, but I have read a LOT worse! This has potential, and I can't wait to see where it's going.

Whoohoo fantastic

If you don't write another of these, I'll have to come to your house and beat your ass. It's that good. The ending was great. The only thing I would say was less than perfect was the pacing during the final scene. You could probably leave out some of the minor details to make it flow better. Either that or expand on them. Regardless, great story. The suprise ending was the best part as you definitely set it up well.
