Nicely done. It's always good to ponder what you see on the TV screen and wonder if there *had* to be more to it. Since television only has so much time to convey a story and can include NONE of the narrative, I love reading these kinds of "fill-in-the-blank" sort of stories.

It's been ages since I've seen an episode of LHOTP, so I don't really recall the speed with which Mary and Adam get together, but maybe you could write another couple of chapters here and include some elements of tension between the two - and delicious jealousy, too, of course! With a name like Reckness (which sounds so much like "reckless"), I think there MUST be more to it.

This is quite interesting. I like it. Just to correct you the episode isn't I'll Be Waving as you Leave it's I'll be waving as you drive away.
