This was a really good story. I have had to deal with this situation, and you described it very well. Please continue to write, you do a great job.

I liked this. Yes, Charlie does seem childish here, but I imagine as a child Charlie was a weird mixture of being too mature at times and too immature at other times. Let's face it, he's not suppose to be normal with a normal childhood, so I think his behavior wasn't too out of line.

I guess what bothered me through an otherwise sweet story is that Charlie seemed so much younger than eight -more like a four or five year old.

I loved this one shot. I loved how Don was so responsible for his younger brother. Kudos.

Sorry, but I dont think that their parents would have slept through all this. They would have heard the water running for the bath.
