The way she uses love making to not feel the pain of losing her son is the way she created him in the first place. It's as if having sex with John was the only way she could kill the pain and create a new Taylor. Seems like a new beginning instead of the end.

Please update and show us where that story will bring them.

Wow, wow, wow...This story here...This is only like the second C/R story I've read that had my eyes watering like these people are real! LOL Heart just completely broke when I saw where this was going. Just devastating. And so very unique.

When she was trying to get Taylor to wake up because he had school in the morning...I was just done.

"She wanted to tell him that she didn't hate him, but she was too hurt and angry and that anger wouldn't let her turn and seek comfort in his arms, as she longed to do." -I love this. The conflict here. Makes total sense.

OMG, Fusco and Carter with her telling him not to take a single moment with his son for granted. Eyes just watered up again. Totally understood her wanting to go back to work (and later not wanting to go home).

Reese and Carter at the end. Damn. That was like whoa. I was so surprised they went there. Thought for sure Reese was going to definitely put a halt to it. Love when a writer flips the script and gives me what I don't expect! And I absolutely loved how you had his thought processes laid out there: that he wanted her, but not like that, but didn't want her doing something so reckless with anyone else.

Good, good stuff. Can't wait to see what happens when reality hits. :)
