I'm so glad for my exam that meant I read this and the previous chapter together so I wasn't all tense and upset :p I did guess Bilbo was going to live, but it wasn't until Thorin started trying to will it that I remembered the life bond - brilliant and fairly plausible reason for his survival, so well done :) poor Bilbo though :p and never mind you trolling - Gandalf is worse :p

I love this story and look forward to more. Thank you for sharing your talent. I was so engrossed with this I let three coffees go cold which, given my love of coffee , is unheard of. More please, more.
