Ouch :L I read this entire story in one sitting, and, I won't lie... that ending. *sobs*

Gavroche is by far one of my favourite characters and his friendship with Courfeyrac is just amazing, and you write it BRILLIANTLY.

I would REALLY love it if you perhaps... wrote an alternate ending? In which Gavroche lives happily ever after with the Les Amis? That is probably a lot to ask, but... meh :P If you don't ask you'll never know!

Best Gavroche story ever! I just reread this for the 3rd time! I hope you write another story or one-shot like this! You really capture the emotions of the characters and the reader! I felt every bit of the fear, love, and family/friendship fluff! Well done!

I can honestly admit I cried my eyes out when I read this on a sleepless night, I absolutely loved how you portreyed Gavroche's relationships with both the boys and Eponine. Also, I really like Gavroche's death scene, even though it broke my heart how sudden it was, but unfortunately, it had to happen. The only thing that i didn't quite love, though it was very emotional, was Eponine's death scene and Gavroche's reaction to it.
PD: the letter Enjorlas wrote to Gavroche, and when Marius read it, just made me want to curl up in a ball and die of sadness :'(

I've re-read this so many times. Gavroche is my favorite, and I adore this story.

My apologies for going silent on reviewing there for a while, but I did remain true to the story.
All I have to say is...

Wow.

I believe this is one of my favorites in all the stories I have read here on FanFiction. And I have to say I'm actually proud of you for creating such a heart-warming yet heart-wrenching story. Every chapter sent a lurch in my chest, eager to find out what happens next. The chapter about Eponine's death and the way Gavroche reacted was perfect. The way you wrote his giddy attitude and turned it around to the more depressing moments in the story-line was amazingly well-done. There isn't much more I can say other than: This story was creative, beautiful, abhorring at times (Such as when Thenardier beat Gavroche.) and over-all the best Les Miserables fanfiction I have read by far.
Please continue writing, you have so much ahead of you. And a lot more fans along with that.
By the way, I found barely any mistakes in it and I'm happy to say so. Extremely accurate.

I've been keeping up with this story since the near beginning and every second reading it was enjoyable even I did my fair share of crying once or twice. The way you handled Gavroche's death was brilliant, the use of no dialogue really emphasized everything along with a single chapter just of the "Little People" song with nothing else really hit home. What i really liked was Enjolras' letter to Gavroche and how powerful it was, showing how much Enjolras, and the rest of the students, really cared for Gavroche.

Please, please, please write more for Les Miserables!

In my opinion, you made the right decision about having Gavroche die at the end. You didn't "kill him off", Hugo did that. You just stuck to the story, and I commend you for that. (If "commend" is the wrong word, I am so sorry!)

As I said in an earlier review, I just love Gavroche. It was great to see a multi-chapter fic focusing on him. I loved reading this story. Thank you for writing it!
