Admittedly I usually ignore the Naomily storylines when they have just met, and go for the ones that are based after series 4, but I loved this! My only complaint would be I would've preferrred Naomi to be dating Cook rather than Freddie, but that's only because I adore them together.

a certain song came to mind as i read the last line of this story. ha ha. right, i see that you've finally gotten around to writing your shorts! good for you mate. :) love the title by the way. it's cute. just a question, is this one gonna end right here? or is there a part ii?

i quite liked this story but felt like there was something missing there though. maybe something to drive the tension to the highest when they were together? but oh well, that's just a difference in opinion i guess. looking forward to more in this series in any case!

Thoughts, in no particular order:

Nice job with JJ - you nailed him, I think. I loved the description of Naomi hearing Emily's voice for the 1st time - pretty much the same reaction I had to it! :)

Love the idea of Naomi as a journalist, but have never quite been able to imagine her with Freddy for some reason. Emily as a counsellor is brilliant, too.

The whole passage where Emily feeds Naomi, and Naomi tries to figure out why she is reacting the way she is was a really ingenious way to start that exploration.

I could go on and on, but just know I enjoyed this a lot. I know it's a one shot, but if you ever get the urge to revisit and expand it, I would be more than happy to read more!
