So in the last few days I've basically caught up on the entire season of Chicago Fire (yay for DVRs), and have gone searching for Casey/Dawson fic. I am loving this twist, and really hope you update again soon. I'm interested in where you take this. The detail you're going into just adds to the story drawing me into it.

When I saw the crash I always thought it'd be Dawson getting hurt the worst not Shay and I was so disappointed when they did it the other way around in the series. I just wanted to review this and let you know that because this fic was so good, I started watching Chicago Fire. And that show is amazing, even if I kind of love your fic version a bit more. But at the same time I am loving Dawson and Mills together, so... yeah. I feel a bit conflicted.

This was an AMAZING chapter! I love how you emphasize that they aren't all that close since they have stuff beyond the fire house to worry about. I can't wait for more!
