Congratulations for this very realistic story. You merge actuality with our characters. Unfortunately this kind of violence between partners exists in reality.

Now back to our characters. It was a bit surprising to see how Kate didn't fight back and that she experienced it. On the other hand it shows that Kate is playing a role of the Lieutenant, but in fact it's sensible woman. That's something you discover at the end of episode 1 of series 1.

Well done I loved the drama in this story, a really enjoyable read.

Exellent chapter, I'm really enjoying this story.

I knew Jim staying away was too much trouble. Although what I don't quite get is surely this matter should have gone to police? They would have investigated/arrested him, and that would have resulted in him being discharged for conduct unbecoming (or similar)? Or did I happen to miss that bit?

Great chapter, i think Kate should of press charges against Jim plus also have a court order against him. I think it was to quick for Jim to be booted out of the army, he should of been court marsheled for hitting a navy officer. with that and found gulty he would of not only been booted out of the army but also serving time as well doing anger management course.
