Good story. Nice relation of the transition between what Jake was and what he becomes. The destruction of the tree of souls was a turning point in Jakes life. I can imagine he would do a lot if pondering just like that in his cell.

This story is interesting and well written. It does a great job at portraying Jake's feelings.
