Reviews for Cyberbullied
Beacker1160 5/1/13 . chapter 1
I hope you won't consider this a flame. However, you have considered many legitimate, constructive-criticism reviews as flames, so I guess this qualifies, too.

After reading this, I honestly don't know what to say. You claim all of these are hateful flame reviews, when in fact many of them are honest, legitimate reviews (especially by FuzzyExorcist). I think that it's not that you can't take flames,

it's that you cannot take criticism in any form or any way.

You call this story "Cyberbullied" and claim these "mean" reviewers cyberbullied you, yet look at what you do to them. Just for posting their opinion ("Hey you know this doesn't make sense, can you change it?") you lash out and harass them, accusing them of "flaming" and yelling things like "I AM AN 18 YEAR OLD SENIOR" and "IT'S FISHLEGS GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT".

It seems to me that, in fact, you are the cyberbully, and they are the victims, not the other way around (as you have claimed).

In fact, only one was actually a flame: the first. The others were good, legitimate reviews written by people who sacrifice hours of their time to help you improve your story.

Yet how do you treat them? How do you thank them?

By accusing them of flaming you and attacking them. You completely ignore their suggestions and instead taunt and harass them for typos (I'm pretty sure he/she didn't type "fishleggs" on purpose, for your information) and calling them "mean" and "cyberbullies" (I wince every time I see you accuse them of that).

Even this whole story itself is against Site Guidelines. It itself is not a fanfiction at all, more like a ragefest and a pity party where you publicly accuse perfectly legitimate, honest reviewers of "cyberbullying" you. You show an appalling level of disrespect to reviewers, which is NOT ALLOWED by the site rules.

My suggestions (if you even follow them, instead of screaming at me for some hidden typo that obviously matters more than improving your writing), would be to learn how to take criticism and take down this disrespectful and disgraceful "story".

And as for that excuse at the end ("picked on...threat from ex...nightmare") is not an excuse at all. We as a writing community do not care about your personal life. Complaining about your personal problems does NOT help or fix them. We are here to help you IMPROVE your writing, not to sympathize and kiss up to you because your real life situation is not as stable as ours. That is not what we do. I have problems in real life too, yet I have never complained about them here, nor have I expected others to be nice to me just because of those problems, and you shouldn't, either.

I'm younger than your claimed 18 years and I have to say I am very disappointed that you chose to write this so-called story where you attack and harass legitimate reviewers. Please be more mature.

Thank you.

PhantomWhispers 3/18/13 . chapter 1
Awww... That was a sweet little thing. Really creative, too.

Wow. I can only imagine how hard it might be to receive flames. But remember to take thins calmly! It helps to have a clear mind when responding to flames. Yes. They can be heartbreaking and rude, but remember that you don't want to flame either. :)

(I hope I do no offend you with any of my words. Goodness! That would retract from my point!).

But I truly hope that you receive no more flames. Great job on your story!

I'm so sorry about those "reviews" you got, but don't let them break you down. You are a good writer and your stories are actually very creative, and you're NOT a terrible writer. I'm sorry to hear also about what you're going through but stay strong, and your never alone, even the things you love, like in movies or what you write for, can help you through the tough times. Also the first "review" I've read in the story "I hate Tinkerbell. I hate dragons. I hate life."? well that was stupid, the review itself, I mean if the person hates Tinkerbell and dragons, which I don't see why because they're both cool, then why does he or she bother reading the story if it has things he or she hates? Also "I hate life."? Come on! Also some authors should pay more attention to the stories before ranting about them. Good luck to you, I hope things will turn out better for you, and don't let those authors who bullied you get in your way. As my English teacher always says when we learn vocabulary "Be impervious( don't let others affect you negatively)"
GigaDragonPuffMaster 1/28/13 . chapter 1
I was running around on when a friend of mine pointed out that she stumbled onto your story and left a couple reviews. Curious, but never the one to pass up an opportunity- I decided to takes a look. What is exactly the point of this story besides a pity party? You keep using this self-insert ‘character’ and posting your personal problems online- this is going to cause a mess for you.
At first I was really thinking about railing into you about your immaturity factor, but I’m going to just ask you to reread some of the things that you responded with.
“(A/N: I can't even begin to DESCRIBE how much this person irks me! Especially with the "Why are you such a terrible writer?" question. Do you guys think I'm a terrible writer? Be honest! And it's TERENCE, not Terrance! MY STORY! HELLO! WOULD YOU STOP BEING SO IMMATURE? My story. My life! I hope you'd get out of both.)”
This is one of multiple responses you give to the people that have reviewed you. I’m just going to ask you to slowly reread this. You tell them to be honest about your writing- but the next sentence you go all caps and ‘yell’ about how its your story and you do what you want.
How are your readers supposed to be honest when you flip out every time some inconsistency is mentioned? Your readers have valuable questions that need answering, and yet you freak out every single time. I’m thinking that I might mention this on Tumblr- it might give you some feedback on what NOT to do with how your responding to other fans.
This is what I said when you tried to send me a personal message with your roleplay response.
“Obviously I've wasted my time. This is just an RP session for you to get your rocks off. I thought I could help you try to take writing seriously, but again, your immaturity speaks louder then words.
So again. I will assist you on personal messaging.
I have maintained proffessional and mature as I have spoken to you. Jack Frost, who is a fictional character, cannot 'speak' for you because he does not exist. I do not need your 'RP' sessions in a personal message.
I'm going to assume you are trying to say that I was in fact, flaming you- I was doing none of that. If I was flaming you, I would have said that your writing was probably the worst I'd have ever seen.
But I did not. I tried to give you advice to look towards books as a general influence to get down decriptions, plotline. Even character dialouge. However, your are just...what? Sixteen? Maybe younger?
I'll let it slide. Have a nice day.”
“I AM 18 YEARS OLD! OH MY GOODNESS! YOU ARE BEING SO IMMATURE! I DO NOT ROLEPLAY! And you spelled professional wrong. And Jack Frost does exist!”
This is one of the responses you gave to me when we had out lovely chat not too long ago. I was irritated by this point, and I did say that you were probably much younger then you claimed to be. And instead of redeeming yourself, you blasted me out of the water with…that.
How do you expect to make friends when you attack every single person who has an opinion about your stories? Or has an opinion in general?
Calling out your reviewers online is not nice. So stop being a child and man up. Take the reviews- read them, learn from them. Its not your opinion of the story that matters. It’s the reviewers, because lets face it- they are reading your story. They took time out to read it and tell you what needed work. You should feel happy that they are doing so.
