ch 1, 		abuse"He starts to smile, then flashes me a look, uncertain. Yeah, that's right, honey. You heard me." That line was absolutely killer. You do a good job with Connor's dialogue; in capturing his uncertainty despite his convictions. Justine's angst is a little more opaque and could stand some development.
