I am glad you wrote his story - I was kind of taken aback by the ending of A Memory of Light, and struggled to imagine the next part of the story, but this one really makes a bridge.

This was very beautiful. I think you captured the ogier mindset quite well - I especially liked the small details, like thinking that changing one's name Seanchan style was hasty, I can totally imagine that an ogier would see it that way.

Rand remembered the songs of the Aiel, which don't need the One Power to function. With an Ogier to add depth, of course it worked! This was wonderful, thank you!
