A hard chapter for me to read, simply because that is my least favourite spooks episode and I hate watching it. (Not your fault!) Well written though, and I like the insight into Ruth's thoughts.

A great take on that episode. I'd love to have known if Harry knew she was reporting to Amanda Roke. Great.

I like the way you had Ruth say goodbye to Tom. A nice look at this chapter and I liked Harry overhearing Ruth talk about her date. For me, it was towards the end of this series when they started to look at each other in a different way!

It works. I was a bit surprised that they let Tom back on the Grid after Harry decommissioned him but since we didn't see anyone else decommissioned (as they all unfortunately ended up dead) I guess that's perhaps the way it works. Interesting little side with Ruth and her new man Ben and better yet what Harry will do with the information. Thanks for sharing!

As an earlier reviewer has pointed out Ruth was on the edges of the action so well done for resisting the attempt to write her in more fully. I liked the touch of having her trying to postpone a date and Harry overhearing her. I've never been of the view that it was love at first sight for either of them and I'm glad you've picked up early on the hint in the penultimate episode in Series 3 that she does have a life off The Grid. I think you did the ending well along with her dawning realisation that Tom had changed.

There is no " Columbian" language. Spanish is the official language and there are several recognized indigenous languages. Perhaps you should read more before you write.

That was a really interesting take on that episode, because Ruth is never right in the thick of it, but always somewhere at the edge. I think you handled the ending really well.
