Maybe I'm being paranoid, but that stain beneath the crown... it's not some sort of absorbed-through-skin poison, is it? And will Conan figure the heist out in time to lend a hand?

I knew there would be another chapter, even if it took very long.

I liked this chapter, I wasn't missing "action". You have set up things in Beika now, many new interesting (and potential dangerous) twists and ideas... I mean, Chiba, what were you doing? And even Ayumi-chan has made her own secret plans to suprise everybody.

Yay! Your back! And not dead(For awhile, I feared the breast cancer might've gotten you T.T)! A little less exciting stuff this chapter, though I suppose plot devolopment is necessary. I liked the interrogation part! On a note about chapter length, I like them rather long, but if it will help you update faster(Seven...long...months...) then it will be a welcome improvement!

This chapter was a surprise to see, but very welcomed, of course! I'm so glad for the amusing recap int he begining (Since I had forgotten some of the things, it was good to get my memory refreshed!) And I had a Biology and History lessen in it! :D Even better! For I didn't do particuarly well in either subjects, you made them seem more interesting. o_O The cell/bacterophage thing was VERY interesting! A great idea, really. :D It's not like..

"Why did they heal so quickly? WHy, a wizard did it!". No, this had a in deph, logical explaination! Sha-WOW! o:

Hooray! Another chapter of Windfall!

I first encountered this fic about two months ago and, I admit, I thought it was yet another discontinued fic. So I am very very glad to see it continued.

Although it was a bridging chapter, and I -am- very interested in seeing what is happening at the Kuroba Estate and Beika City, I was very interested in what Heiji was doing. It was intriguing and I am looking forward to the rest of that plotline. I also am interested in what Inspector Nakamori is doing, and how he's reacting to the hints Kaito gave him, the notes pinned to his pockets, and to the explanations he half-heard. I'd also like to know if Kazuha has yet been told about Ran/Rin.

Finally, I'd like to say that I'm sorry about your personal pain, and I hope that you are now in a happier position.

(And that more Windfall is coming soon, but that goes without saying!)

It's been forever since I have last seen an update for "WINDFALL" I have been waiting for an update since March 2005, when I have been introduced to the wonderful website of via "WINDFALL" and other stories by the writers...if I remember the names correctly...someone named...Orla? and...Jaelle? I don't exactly remember. I remember the 2 writers made stories and got it in a website of their own featuring DC fanfiction. And another writer with "KUDO" in his penname. He...sort of said he retired in his profile...the exact words "is officially dead" if I recall correctly. But the stories I love most is yours!

I'ts alright if you write a 10,0 word chapter or a 27,0 word chapter. Heck, I don't care if you write a 50,0 word chapter. Just make the story good and everything's ALRIGHT!

Well, that was interesting... some questions answered, and hundreds more raised... and I see you're also toying with the idea of 'terminally-small' pair also getting a taste of the gems powers... I'd be happy with that going either way, so have fun with that...
