That's definitely a different Tracy than I know. Accidentally taking the name of his victim and combining it with his nickname is almost like a noir movie. Great story all around.

Yours is a fic that was certantly well worth the time it took to read.

It was truly excellent, because it offered a completely new and original perspective on Tracey's childhood, and it was genius to include the 1st Pokémon Movie, and an explanation into the origin of his name.

Though a little gory in places, I really enjoyed it, and it makes a change from the sad attempts at humour that Tracey-bashers try to achieve.

My god. How come so many people bash Tracey? Huh, because he 'took Brock's place'. They hate him for not being the eyeless one. That's stupid! He's himself, not a Brock replacement. Gods, but he's been through Hell and back hanging to a twig. You can't hate someone who hurts that bad inside.

I found this story a while ago on some website and I've been searching all over for it ever since! I finally did a title search for "Enigma" here and it just happened to be on the site I'm on. _ I love this story to death, it's one of the most unique plots I've ever read. another good one! you don't find too many authors who can add more depth and emotion behind pokemon characters. btw, i love the song written in the story ( Lithium, Nirvana)
