This story was one of the sweetest I've ever read. I was giggling pretty much non-stop. The characterisation was perfect. I usually don't care for AU, but I loved this.

Omg one of the best rk oneshots I've ever read! It has a dose of everything from humour to action and sex (which totally cemented my love for you btw as creepy as that may sound). I love the whole concept of the story and the characterisation is so spot on. AND YOU PUT HIKO IN! I am such a sucker for Kenshin-Hiko-Kaoru moments cos lets face it, who the hell doesn't love the guy? And ahhhhh Jennifer cruisie is one of my favourite authors and Bet Me still remains in my top five favourite romance novels! I love the Jennifer cruise flava that you gave to this story where you put a bunch of characters in one room and let chaos reign. Really gotta commend you for this amazing fic! Thanks so much!

I absolutely love this story! You did such an awesome job in capturing the essence of each character. I was also glad to see soon-to-be Grandpa Hiko in this and really enjoyed his interaction with Karou. I can't wait for Misao and Aoshi's story. Please write more soon!

Excellent! I didn't realize that this was in the same universe as Besides the Point until Kaoru called Hiko an asshat. It was great though, because I was finally able to peg down why reading it felt similar. But I was smiling and laughing like an idiot when reading this (my sister told me to shut up). Thanks for posting!

Oh god, this was so good and sweet. Honestly. Absolutely wonderful. One of the best things that you noted, is that Kenshin's desire to please people and his own feelings of unworthines might cause interesting dilemma between the sheets. And I loved how Kaoru, our dear spirited girl solved that issue. Nothing like teasing your man to maddnes.
Also you make a very good point about how Kaoru feared that a baby at that point would have tied Kenshin to her. It's a very good and realistic fear on the basis of Kaoru's experience and viewpoint.. eventhough other's saw it differently. So, brilliant job by creating unique fears and viewpoints to chracters and using those to full extent. All in all, this is very good oneshott to continue the story which you told in Beside the point.

Enjoyed reading this. It's hard to find well-written AUs in this fandom (and even harder in general fandoms to read good stories written in present-tense). Great work!
