JelloStix 4/9/13 . chapter 1That was pretty brilliant. A little bit heart wrenching, a little bit sad with a happy-ish ending. Not what I expected at all. I read that summary at least five different times over the last week or so before I clicked on the title and really I'm just disappointed that I didn't read it sooner. |
lalachoa 3/29/13 . chapter 1Great story. |
ThetaSigmaSlyth 3/21/13 . chapter 1You don't get your favorite 3 words... sorry. But I will say I loved this! I love that Jack made Ianto wait. Let him live his life no matter how much it hurt. Beautifuly done. |
Jade-t9 3/16/13 . chapter 1Just wanted to say this is an awesome story! Equal parts heartbreaking and poignant. The scene with kid Ianto and Owen calling Jack was priceless. |
BelladonasMom 3/2/13 . chapter 1I love this! You have written an imaginative but still realistic story that broke my heart. I don't know what happened to Tosh and Owen, but I hope they are free. And Ianto is home. You put so much lush detail in this oneshot. I feel like I lived a lifetime. Bravo! |
PadawannaB 2/28/13 . chapter 1I'd like to say a lot more than "I liked this", but I don't think I can. The story just swallowed me, like I swallowed it, and it all happened in the blink of an eye. Everything turned blue: first in a deeply sad way, and then in a beautiful, fulfilled, eternal way of seeing the blue eyes of someone who's traveled far and near and now come home to stay. I really, really liked this. |
AmberLove86 2/28/13 . chapter 1That was great! I loved it! |
DarqueQueen7 2/28/13 . chapter 1This story was terrible to everyone in it! Poor Gwen & Rhys! Poor Owen & Tosh! And especially poor Ianto! After experiencing so much of what life has to offer, he would really throw it all over for Jack?! OH Hell To The NO! I think Ianto sold himself short. I hope he just goes back to Jack, but not Torchwood. But in the end, this story certainly earned an "I Like This". D. |
sd4ianto 2/28/13 . chapter 1It was good. Sad for Ianto. Jack still always getting his way. Always figuring he knows better for everyone. Maybe that isn't the way you meant it, but I just have a little under lying anger at Jack and his disregard for Ianto and his feelings. I love the boys together. They are my favorite of all time. Thank you for the story. |
veritas6.5 2/27/13 . chapter 1i liked this, I really liked this! |
Meridas 2/27/13 . chapter 1As adorable as toddler!Ianto is, this was definitely weird and bittersweet. It made a heartbreaking kind of sense the way Jack had to let Gwen and Ianto go - and although the "no contact" rule is hard, I was really glad to see that Jack didn't Retcon Ianto, too. That would've been too much. I like to think he caught up with Tosh and Owen later. I can't get over the cute but devastating image of little Ianto sitting there on the couch as Jack says "Don't" and leaves. The scene with teenage Ianto in Jack's bed was a similar mix of sexy and funny and sad. And I really did like the ten years thing - I'd love to see all of them in ten years, see what Tosh and Owen got up to, knowing about Torchwood but living normal lives (not sure that's possible). The ending made me smile, though. So, basically this was awesome. I liked this :) |
mardar 2/27/13 . chapter 1That was really moving. |
