Any way the memory part was kinda confusing but other wise it was a great chappie UPDATE SOON! Another thing I noticed was arald was a bit grim I don't know if you were trying to make him that way because he got kicked out of arluen (I liked how you made arald a bit grim because who would be happy if they all the sudden got kicked out of their feif)

Catherine looks to be an alright character so far, and I do agree with the Female Ranger Mary Sue Syndrome (or FRMSS for short). Although I don't remember any occasion where John Flanagan mentions girls not having adequate strength required to draw a bow, so I disagree. (Then again there were the Amazons, who supposedly cut off one of their breasts to shoot better but make of that what you will.)

Good chapter! I liked the part with the "mad stalker who shoots people"... had me laughing for a good five minutes, that one did. :) I also rather like how it's reminiscent of Will's own Choosing. Just the same two issues as the last chapter: word choice and grammar, but otherwise this is good. Keep it up. :)

Also, that's Savannah Silverstone, yes? (J, if you see this, hi!) She's really good with plotlines (I'm beta-ing her story "Danger Zone" and you should read it, the plot is quite riveting). Anyway, this review is getting quite long. Keep writing!

This looks pretty interesting! Stephen seems cool so far... and Thomas Paine? The Patriot journalist, am I right? :D (Yes, I am a history nerd; no, I actually don't mind fictional characters having the names of historical figures. So if you went with Paine I wouldn't have minded... haha!)
Looking good so far, just a bit iffy with some of the grammar/word choices. But the concept of this seems interesting, so I shall continue reading. Good work!
