:) I think Filch is a loyal Hufflepuff to the bone; if he knew he loved Minerva, he might cheer for Gryffindor over Slytherin, but he's been close to Severus for quite a while, and he knows how it feels to have no support from others like the Slytherins vs the rest of the school.

Oh that is so cute and nicely written. I like the fact you present Snape as caring about his house. Very good characterization about Slytherin. You never has Filch answer the question of why he cheers for Slytherin...

I always love his Eye-rolling. XD I could see a little funny fic with him trying to perfect it by studying it in the mirror. But that random!funnyness would clash with the realistic person you give us to look at.

This is a cute little story. Gehenna is a likeable kid and so is her sister, Lilith. I'm glad that you have some nice Slytherins in your stories.

I always feel clumsy and helpless when in need to comfort someone. I find it even more impossible than comforting myself.

I've been wondering the same thing: why Filch cheered for Slytherin. I like to think that it is because of some sort of camaraderie he feels towards Snape. Camaraderie seeing how they both are out to catch and punish miscreants. I have always liked to believe that Filch and Snape has some sort of at least understanding between them, because it pains me to see either of them so lonely, rejected, misunderstood, bitter: this way at least they have someone. That is one of the reasons I like your stories so much, because you show this understanding between the two of them.

I love Filch interacting with students and not knowing how to be nice. Gehenna's got him pegged though, nearly as well as Ginny and Neville.

Awww, that was a cute scene! ^.^ I always love how the Slytherins care for Snape and he cares for them. I've always wondered why Filch was standing with the Slytherins during that Quidditch match, too. Always fun to speculate, I guess. Anyway, can't wait for more 'Squib Caretaker'!! ^.^
