Great chapter. I kinda like both Usopp's parents had planned an arranged marriage for him and Kaya.
Just kidding! All joke aside, you did a very good job on the last few chapters, and I can't wait for the conclusion.

I like the idea of both Yasopp & Banchina meeting at some school. I get the impression that tis not in Syrup village or on Gecko Island though. I remember from earlier chapter saying Usopp was born on a different island, is that where the school is? Or is it on Gecko Island but a different area than the small Syrup Village? And did Usopp end up boing to the school as Banchina wanted? It says they go to school until 18 here, but Usopp met Luffy when they were 17. So if he went, how long was he there?

-shrugs- Maybe it's a left-over fear from before he got his devil fruit. Or he was just overly traumatized by the War of the Best. Hear a gunshot and think, "Oh God, are we under attack?" Anyway, I can't wait for the next chapter! I'm guessing Yasopp doesn't know his wife is dead? I'd think that would be one of the first things he'd ask Usopp. He'd blame himself for being unable to get the medicine or help her, and Usopp would beat him out of it. Update soon!

Luffy & bullets it was first commented right before Usopp joined, when Luffy, Nami & Zoro met Gaimon. Gaimon had shot at Luffy, and Luffy says he doesn't like bullets, even though they don't harm him.

Oh, thank Beejeezus Usopp's alive! You had me worried for a second with the last chapter. If I haven't said it before, this story is fantastic! Its obvious that you put a lot of thought and effort in to it. Plus, I feel you really captured Usopp's personality in this. Its nice to see Usopp's smarter, more sophisticated side in a story instead of bein a screaming coward like he is in some other fanfics.

I hope your fever goes down soon, and don't try to rush out the next chapter if you're feeling really ill. I'm sure the other reviewers will understand. Get well soon!

Wow, forget what I said about this story being funny as hell. Geez, whut was that?! The first, decent, non-yoai Usopp story in like forever, and you have him killed off in the 2nd chapter?! Y'know I've heard rumors of stories where main characters would die, but this is my first time actually reading one. Now Usopp will never know what his mom wrote in his letter... or will he? I kinda hope Usopp's not really dead in the next chapter. Keep up the good work.
