*shakes fist menacingly* I'm hoping that was Sephiroth! Please let it be Sephiroth! And the pairing to be Sephiroth/Usagi! Pretty, pretty please? Then again, it could also be a Vincent/Usagi pairing. I don't care which, just between those two... ;;

That was cool. - And Usagi meeting Sephiroth was a nice touch. But I think you meant "covered in soot" not "sooth". That's fine though; everyone makes mistakes. Keep it up!

Wow! That really was a long chapter. But you don't hear me complaining! . I had to look back at some of the other chapters to remember what was going on since it had been a while.

I can't quite decide whether Jenova is talking about Aeris or Usagi. I've never beaten the game, so I have blanks in my knowledge. (Right after they take Cid's plane... or what's left of it. Eh heh heh heh.)

Anyhow, I can't help but be curious of the pairing. Sometimes it seems to suggest AerisxCloud, and other times UsagixCloud... My personal hope is either SephirothxUsagi or VincentxUsagi, though I'll be happy with whatever you pick, I'm sure.

As for the gradual development of relationships, I'm so glad you've picked that route. If you think about it, it's the more sensible choice. People don't fall in love instantly/over night. Not into lasting love, anyhow. I guess writers (in general) feel pressured since a story generally isn't written over a huge period of time...

Critique:

Looks like your grammar and spelling are good to go. Which is a very, very good thing... when the reader has to guess what you're saying, it distracts them from your story. Nice descriptions of places/scenery. A nice variety of views from a lot of the different characters.

In other words... a job well done. Keep up the good work.

Very good fic! Sorry I wasn't able to review for a while, i didn't realise that you had updated. ; I think your fics fantastic It's really good. I still am hoping for a Cloud/Usagi pairing *pouts* I love those, those are sooooo cute! Three words; WHERE-IS-VINCENT? Ok, now that thats said and done, im liking your stories so far. I'm guessin' this is a Cloud/Usagi fic. Well thats how it looks now anyway. You could be sly though and with pull a Vincent coupling (kinda cool) or Rufus (which would make a good story turn into a suck fest). Back to the subject of Vince, although this fic isntin that style, it would be uber cool if you made mention of Vincent past with Hojo and Lucrecia. It so often gets over looked when it actually very important to the FF7 story line. But it can make a light hearted story like your go dark in a second. I think that would be cool though...what? There aint enough dark themed ff7/sm crossovers. Thats just me though, keep on rockin!

USAGI AND CLOUD! I want this to be an usagi and cloud pairing fic!... Oh and I love the fic! its just sooo cool! I have been searching for a long time for ff7/sm crossovers. Get the other chaps out soon please and please can you notify me when you update the fic?
